Lady Barracudas Move Into 3rd Round of NCISAA State Playoffs

The UCHS Lady Barracudas defeated Carolina Friends School of Durham 3-1 in the second round of the NCISAA 2A playoffs.  Set scores were 25-21, 16-25, 25-23, 25-22 as the scrappy Quaker squad pushed UCHS in each set.  The victory moves UCHS into the quarterfinals of the state playoffs for the first time ever. Boys Soccer Drops Close Playoff Decision to Davidson Day

In a rematch of an August contest that saw Davidson Day edge UCHS 1-0 the host team again emerged victorious with a 3-1 victory in round 1 of the NCISAA 2A state playoffs.  The game was a scoreless draw for most of the first half with Davidson Day scoring late to take a 1-0 lead
