Boys Varsity Soccer · Boys Soccer Remains Unbeaten In Conference Play With Victory Over Statesville Christian


The UCHS boys won their seventh consecutive match and remained unbeaten in Foothills Athletic Conference play with a 4-1 win over Statesville Christian School on Thursday, September 26.  The Barracudas scored two goals in each half and were in control throughout the match.  Andrew Poe and Garret Burns chipped in a goal each in the first half and Hayden Patel and Ben Simmons added two goals in the second half for the winning margin.  Ben Levinson got the win in goal for University Christian who now stands at 8-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

The win marks the first time in school history that UCHS has defeated Statesville Christian.  The Barracudas step out of conference on Friday, September 27 as they play Freedom Christian from Fayetteville, an NCISAA 2A school, in non-conference play.
