2019-2020 will see the formation of a new NCISAA 2A athletic conference, of which University Christian High School will be a member.  The Foothills Athletic Conference (FAC) as been formed and will consist of four member schools.  Davidson Day School will join former SPAA conference members Hickory Christian Academy, Statesville Christian School and University Christian

Hayden Patel entered the NCISAA Division III State Track and Field Championships as the #7 seeded runner but his qualifying time was within striking distance of the leaders.  Racing in a very tightly bunched field Patel ran a very strategic race and made a decisive surge on the backstretch to move into the third position.
