Change Made to NCISAA Spectator Policy

On Thursday, October 8 the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Administration (NCISAA), after consultation with health officials, member schools and it’s board of governors, announced a change in the policy for spectators at athletic events. Barracuda Boys Open FAC Tournament at Davidson Day

The UCHS boys soccer team finished the regular season with a 2-4 record and will enter the inaugural Foothills Athletic Conference tournament as the #3 seeded team and will travel to #2 Davidson Day on Tuesday, October 13 for a 5pm game.  The winner of that contest will play the winner of #1 Hickory Christian

Lady Barracudas Tennis Opens FAC Tournament as #2 Seed

The UCHS girls tennis team finished the regular season with a 4-2 record in Foothills Athletic Conference play and 5-3 overall.  The Lady Barracudas will host Statesville Christian School, the #3 seed,  at 4pm on Tuesday, October 13 at Catawba Country Club.  The winner will advance to play the winner of #1 seed Davidson Day

Volleyball to Open FAC Tournament at Home on October 13

The UCHS volleyball team finished the regular season with a 6-1 record overall and a 5-1 record in Foothills Athletic Conference play.  The 5-1 record puts the Lady Barracudas in a tie with Davidson Day School as the two schools split during the regular season.  The tiebreaking criteria were,1. head to head record, 2. record

UCHS Volleyball Sweeps Hickory Christian Academy

On Tuesday September 29 University Christian moved to 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in Foothills Athletic Conference play by virtue of a 3-0 win over in-town rival Hickory Christian Academy.  Set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-13 were an indication of the dominance of the Lady Barracudas play.  Outstanding players for UCHS were: Maddie Smith 

UCHS Girls Tennis Dominant in Win Over Hickory Christian Academy

The Lady Barracudas swept all six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches to take an 8-1 win over Hickory Christian Academy.  The win moves UCHS to 3-1 on the season and 3-0 in Foothills Athletic Conference play. UCHS Boys Finish Second in Foothills Athletic Conference Meet

University Christian finished second in the Foothills Athletic Conference meet held at Statesville Christian high school on Monday, September 28.  In a close team race the Hickory Christian Academy edged UCHS by six points.  The Barracudas were led in scoring by sophomore Yates Johnson, followed by Parker Heller-Lee, Jonah Long and David Abel.  Meet results
